Highway D8 (Czech: Dálnice D8) is a highway in the Czech Republic. If completed, it will go from Prague through Ústí nad Labem to German Bundesautobahn 17. The first segment of the highway was opened in 1990. Segment from Ústí nad Labem to the German border is under construction (opening expected in november 2006, this segment will include the longest tunnel of the Czech Republic, the 2,058 m-long Panenská tunnel. Controversial segment through the České Středohoří protected landscape area is in preparation.
