Highway City is a small community in Fresno, California. It is located near the junction of Freeway 99 and Shaw Avenue, one of the main streets of Fresno. There is a small community center located just north of Shaw Avenue.

The U.S. Geological Survey, National Geographic Names database shows a feature ID of 1658750 and an elevation above mean sea level of 299 feet. The NAD83 coordinates given by USGS are 36°48′39″N, 119°53′06″W on the Herndon, California 7.5-minute quadrangle.
