Hightown is an unincorporated village at the crossroads of U.S. Route 250 and VA 640 in Highland County, Virginia. The main source of the South Branch Potomac River lies to the north of Hightown along VA 640. It was originally known as Heveners Store. It is included in the Harrisonburg, Virginia Metropolitan Statistical Area.
