Highline Trail

A group of hikers follows the Garden Wall section of the trail, just north of the Logan Pass visitor center. The fog is from a low-lying cloud in the valley. A red "jammer" bus can be seen on Going-to-the-Sun Road down below.

The Highline Trail in Glacier National Park is a scenic hiking trail stretching 7.6 miles from Logan Pass to Granite Park Chalet, and continuing another 11.9 miles from there to Fifty Mountain Campground. The trail follows the Garden Wall ridge and the continental divide for most of its length. The trail offers very scenic views of glaciated U-shaped valleys. A side trip along a steep trail provides an overlook to Grinnell Glacier.
