Highams Park is a place in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, adjacent to Epping Forest. The forest at Highams Park contains a boating lake formed by Humphry Repton after damming the River Ching. There is a railway station - Highams Park Station - and it is easily connected to Chingford and Walthamstow by rail and bus. There are many schools and parks and basic shopping facilities such as Budgens.

It is a suburban area situated 8.7 miles (14 km) north east of Charing Cross, and was part of Walthamstow parish and municipal borough, though most of it is in either the Chingford (E4) or Woodford Green (IG8) postal areas.

Teddy Sheringham was born on 2nd April 1966 in Highams Park, he now plays for West Ham United. Sir George Edwards was born in Hale End Road, Highams Park, on 9th July 1908.
