High Warlord

High Warlord (HWL) is the highest PvP rank of the Horde faction in World of Warcraft. Achieving High Warlord provides Horde players with the opportunity to purchase arguably the most powerful weapons and armor in all of Azeroth. The Alliance equivalent of High Warlord is Grand Marshal.
High Warlord is achieved through a constant honour grind, and requires many hours a day PvPing within battlegrounds. Players require a high standing for many months to achieve High Warlord. For instance, it required a person to play the game for 16 to 18 hours per day for 14 consecutive weeks in order to achieve the title.
