Higashiusuki District, Miyazaki

Higashiusuki (東臼杵郡; -gun) is a district located in Miyazaki, Japan.
As of 2003, the district has an estimated population of 51,323 and the density of 24.49 persons per km². The total area is 2,095.86 km².

- On January 1, 2006 the villages of Nango, Saigo and Kitago merged to form the new town of Misato.
- On February 20, 2006 the towns of Kitaura and Kitakata merged into the city of Nobeoka.
- On February 25, 2006 the town of Togo merged into the city of Hyūga.
