Higashitonami District, Toyama

Higashitonami (東礪波郡; -gun) was a district located in Toyama, Japan.
On November 1, 2004, the town of Shogawa separately merged with the city of Tonami, and the remaining three towns and four villages in Higashitonami merged with the town of Fukumitsu from Nishitonami District to form the city of Nanto. The district was dissolved as a result.
Prior to dissolution, the district has four towns and four villages, and as of 2003, the district had an estimated population of 46,031 and a density of 86.60 persons per km², the total area was 531.55 km².
