Hey (FF8)
Hey, did you ever notice those interesting anon edits made on the Final Fantasy VIII page last night? I fixed them, and gave the anon a message, but it fooled me for a few minutes. I was actually copyediting one of the parts, lol...Deckiller 23:19, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- Your welcome. I must say though, those were some strange edits. Deckiller 23:23, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

Sorry I just had to trim that. Its distracting, repetitive and somewhat irritating. I've taken care of the image. -ZeroTalk 20:58, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Regarding "Kayko"
Did you know that FUNimation spells her name "Kayko" instead of Keiko? VIZ uses Keiko, so Wikipedia will too. WhisperToMe 19:25, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Final Fantasy IV :)
I was just about to post on the featured article page LOL I think we are ready, to get right to it....I think the article looks ready, and any remaining objections, in my opinion, will be minor and can be addressed in the FAC...Your thoughts? Judgesurreal777 22:49, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
Image Tagging for Image:Kreg1949.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Kreg1949.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Another Barnstar
Hi! I've noticed your tireless work in reverting vandalism and POV edits on the Final Fantasy series. You certainly deserve another Barnstar for it Template:Grin Renmiri 14:03, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
Mega Man classic articles
Hi. Do you recall when we discussed the Mega man classic series....? Well, I've finally freed enough time to work on them. I ceated many new pages and templates (such as King (Mega Man)), and thought it might be lovely to notify you in case you wanted to categorize them. -ZeroTalk 04:18, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

-
- Yes, that was me. I "spearheaded it" (as you described) and did a massive overhall on many pages, and creating new ones all detailed in the templates I constructed below:

- Template:megamanlegends -ZeroTalk 04:28, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

-
- Well, please don't insert them in just yet. I think it might be a better course of action to ask the project on thier talkpage beforehand, as they might not take active participation, evicerating the point of the template inclusion. An example would be the Samurai Shodown character articles I constructed. I requested assistance on the talk, but recieved absolutely no help on them (I had to do all of the pages myself; took me a bloody month). This is why there's not a template on every video game article talkpage; the project has to actively pursue the goodwill of that paticular article(s). This is also why I departed the CVG project. -ZeroTalk 04:39, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing Cambell Park - I didn't know about {{section-stub}}. Your next task, if you chose to accept it, is to explain how to use <ref> citation </ref> ! Concrete Cowboy 08:18, April 13, 2006

Image Tagging Image:Xbox console.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Xbox console.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ReyBrujo 21:13, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Category:Korean games
Hi, Hibana,
You added a CfD tag to this category (Category:Korean games) on the 17th, but did not actually list it on the CfD page. I think your suggested rename is a good idea; however, I would like to use this category to hold traditional Korean games such as Yut and Chajeon Nori (cf. Category:Japanese games). Would it be OK with you if I simply migrate the current contents of the category to your suggested title, and then redefine the category? Of course, you're welcome to take it to CfD, if you want; this just seems like a simpler solution. Cheers, -- Visviva 12:43, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Re: The Article
Hm... well, I guess we could go ahead and stub those page. I definitely think a link should remain, whether we do or not, as we're linking Kitase, Nojima and Nomura's names, and we should be shooting for consistency.
And, yes, I definitely think we should lose the link on "2001" or make it something more contextually relevant. As for the redundant links, you're right, except in cases where the first links are closed off within "spoiler" brackets; I've been trying to go through and make sure we don't have any extras outside the brackets, though. I've probably missed one somewhere.
Let me know if you think of anything else. And is it just me, or was that last poster on the FAC particularly brutal? XD Ryu Kaze 18:23, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hey. I thought I'd let you know that I'm going to go ahead and try to turn some of those pages into stubs now. Ryu Kaze 19:34, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the assist with the stubs, Hibana. I think we've got them all now. Anything else you think we should work on? Ryu Kaze 20:32, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Final Fantasy Adventure
- Thanks for the offer! The biggest weakness I have right now is copyediting, so if you could help with that, it would be much appreciated...not much text yet, so it should be straight foreword. Judgesurreal777 19:54, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Front Mission
Hi! I've been looking at the Front Mission article and I'm trying to get an idea of whether or not the emphasis is on the Super NES game or the series as a whole - though it strikes me as the latter. Any hints? Cheers -Vic Vipr 08:34, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
FFT Links
You stated:
I also noticed that a lot of those links you re-included were guides; according to Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, "while Wikipedia has descriptions of people, places, and things, Wikipedia articles should not include instruction - advice ( legal, medical, or otherwise), suggestions, or contain "how-to"s. This includes tutorials, walk-throughs, instruction manuals, video game guides, and recipes. Wikibooks is a Wikipedia sister-project which is better suited for such things."
- While I am familiar with that guideline, I believe that to specifically refer to the listing of actual guides on Wikipedia, not a link to a guide. However, I do see your point in that nearly all the "guides" listed were duplicates (i.e. they shared the same information), so I support the removal of those listings. However, I believe the link to the FFT Online game should stay, as it is not a guide, but a fan-made game based on FFT. Would you agree to leave that link there along w/ the other important links (e.g. the BMG)? Thanks for the message. Noah 00:53, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Robo Pit cover.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Robo Pit cover.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Lifeline
This proves precisely why I'm not a categorizer! Just when I thought I got them all this time you assist me again! :)
I'm still playing through the game, and its ever so interesting. The voice chat isn't as determential as the reviews claim, it simply requires practice. I'm counting on completeion of the game so I can finish the Story section, as the plot isn't all its made out to be; the aliens aren't really "aliens". Have you played the game..? -ZeroTalk 00:48, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

- Hey, sorry it's been a while since I've contacted you. I recall you inquiring something of me about the Mega Man ZX article recently, but I've been working out on some of the other new games that were announced at E3. Our FF project managed to get Final Fantasy X to featured status and the man majorly responsible is unfortunately leaving Wikipedia. I guess you could say I haven't gotten around to it.
-
- I haven't actually played Lifeline, no. Today, I just happened to see the X-Play review again, and got to wondering whether or not someone had started an article yet. Lo and behold, a mere 3 days ago, it was started by you. :) Please, expand it in any way you see fit. You've done a great job so far. ~ Hibana 01:06, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

-
- I'm very happy to see you have made FFX a featured article! Its rare the CVG side of wikipedia gains such pretiege on the main page, and I'm very respectful of that.
-

-
- And thanks for the encouragement. There is a need for inovative games such as this, and a rather fine line, between new content and keeping people happy. I think it's time more games like this are produced. Regarding the MM articles, I've recently gotten Mega Man X (character) and Zero (Mega Man) to GA status; if you believe something in those articles to need more clarification, I'd also like to hear about it. -ZeroTalk 01:19, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Tomato Adventure
Hello there, would you like to add Tomato Adventure to the Japan exclusive computer and video games list? Parrothead1983 17:46, May 27 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for changing the stubs on Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure and Dragon Ball GT: Transformation from Sports Stubs to Fighting Stubs. At the point of the articles' creations, fighting games were oddly forced under Sports Games stubs, and I was unaware a Fighting Stub existed until now. Bravo. The S 02:23, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Revert on The Sims 2: Pets
Why did you revert unconfirmed without participating in the existing discussion taking place on the talk page of the article? Its listed as unconfirmed in the template, and it is in fact not confirmed. While quite likely, there has been no official statement, and there is speculation that Pets won't even be the name. --Crossmr 00:18, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

Thank you
Thanks for the congratulations. If you only recently played through Mystic Quest, you could probably beef up my edits, especially on the complimentary pages. I got pretty bored with them and it was getting late, so the character page lacks prose in some places and the locations page lacks full coverage, although there's not much to say about some of the places (e.g., the temples - some of them are useless to even travel to). As for the more obscure games, I'm pretty new to a lot of them (and some, like Square's 1984 and 1985 games, I haven't played), so I only possess the bare-bones information. I'm still working on the Square Co. page (I want to do everything right the first time, since it's hard editing massive articles like this is shaping up to be), but I got sidetracked with Mystic Quest and Chocobo World. I'm hoping once it's finally done, though, you can try to tackle it and clean up my mistakes, since you do have pretty extensive knowledge of games in general, particularly Final Fantasy. :) --Tristam 01:43, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
