"Hezbollah" means "party of God" in Arabic. It is a popular name for Islamist organizations:
- Hezbollah of Lebanon, a Shi'a political party and militia which played a major role in getting Israel out of Lebanon, officially recognized as a terrorist organization by Israel, U.S., UK, the Netherlands, Australia and Canada
- Hezbollah of Turkey, unrelated to the above, is a Kurdish Islamic Sunni group in Turkey
- Iraqi Hezbollah, unrelated to the above, is a Shiite political party part of the United Iraqi Alliance with a previous history of resistance to Saddam Hussein from bases in southern Iraq's marshlands
- Hezbollah Movement in Iraq is an unrelated political party which is also a component of the United Iraqi Alliance
- Kurdish Revolutionary Hezbollah is an Iraqi Kurdish Islamist group founded in 1983 and disbanded in 2002.
