Hezamara is the head-quarters of the Hezamara Rural Development Block in Sadar sub-division of West Tripura district in Tripura. It located in between Sidhai-Mohanpur and Simna on the main road. Hezamara also serves as a link to the town of Khowai in Khowai subdivision.

The people here are mainly Tripuris. The mainstay of the people of Hezamara depends on agriculture and small business. Plantations of rubber and tea is found in nearby surrounding areas.

The present Block Development Officer or the BDO of Hezamara Block is Mr Bimal Reang.
