Hevein
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hevein is a Finnish thrash metal band with strong symphonic/neo-classical metal influence from Helsinki consisting of six band members.
Hevein is a band which combines the two extreme sides the music offers. While drums, guitars and a powerful leading voice guide the listener into a storm, the more melodic instruments like violin and cello in addition to a secondary voice calm down again and make the sound complete.
According to the band’s homepage "No one can be told what Hevein music really is... you have to hear it yourself."
Found in 1992 and later signed under the label Spinefarm Records, they developed and increased until now by having different singers and more members than in the beginning.

[edit] The Name
According to Leif Hedström’s answer in the Hevein forum to the question:
"Does Hevein mean something?"
The guitarist once heard a song, covered by Blackstar ”The Girl That Lived On Heaven Hill”. Hereupon, the words “Heaven Hill” were changed into “Heven Hill” and were altered again until the final band name “Hevein” was born.
