Heute In Jerusalem (English translation: "Today in Jerusalem") was the Austrian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1979, performed in German by Christina Simon.
The song was performed eighteenth on the night (following the United Kingdom's Black Lace with Mary Ann and preceding Spain's Betty Missiego with Su Canción). At the close of voting, it had received 5 points, placing 18th (equal last) in a field of 19.
The song is a ballad about the hope of "peace in Jerusalem", bringing "sense against the nonsense".
The song was succeeded as Austrian representative in the 1980 Contest by Blue Danube, singing Du Bist Musik.
