Heskestad

Heskestad is a village and former municipality in Rogaland county, Norway, created as Heskestad formannskapsdistrikt in 1837.

On 1 January 1965 the majority of Heskestad, with 547 inhabitants, became a part of Lund municipality. At the same time the districts Gyadalen and Grøsfjell with 114 inhabitants were moved to Eigersund municipality.

The village Heskestad is presently located in Lund.
