[edit] Signature
Hi Hernan!
Yes, you can alter your signature, although there are guidelines, and altering your signature requires some knowledge of wikimarkup or HTML. In short, you signature should not become misleading, should be short when viewed in an edit window, should not contain an image or anything that would drain the server, and should not draw attention to itself by distorting other posts (line height, flashing, unreadable etc).
You're best to experiment here, or in the sandbox or in your own sandbox: User:Hernan Javier/Sandbox. When you get something that suits you and works to Wikipedia guidelines, you can then copy-and-paste the code (not the saved sig!) to the right place in your preferences - top right-hand corner or Special:Preferences. There's a section about signatures. Turn on the option for a raw signature.
Hope this helps and happy editing! ➨ ЯEDVERS 18:54, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
