Medal of Honor Heroes is a World War II first-person shooter video game developed by EA Canada for the PlayStation Portable. It was released on October 23, 2006 in North America.[1] [2]

The game contains three campaigns, featuring characters from the previous Medal of Honor games such as Lieutenant Jimmy Patterson (from the original Medal of Honor and Medal of Honor: Frontline), Sergeant John Baker (from Medal of Honor: Allied Assault Breakthrough), as well as Lieutenant William Holt (from Medal of Honor: European Assault). It also mentions Joe Griffin from Medal of Honor: Rising Sun in the ending as planning out POW rescues in Japan so it's assumed he eventually rescues his brother.

Medal of Honor: Heroes also features an online multiplayer that allows for 32 players to enter a match without waiting in a lobby. It also lets you access real era weapons that give it that authentic look and feel. These include the M1 Garand, Thompson submachine guns, Colt 1911 pistols, and bazookas. Gameplay modes include "HTL" (hold the line), "DM" (deathmatch) and "CTF" (capture the flag). Unlike most other online multiplayer games, no points are awarded even if the player successfully brings an enemy flag back to the base and scores.
