Herpomyces (Ascomycota, Laboulbeniomycetes) micrograph. These two bottle-shaped fruting bodies are about 0.3 mm long. They are full of ascospores. Between them, there are two male indivuduals. Part of a striated foot cell can be seen below. Taken by Sergio sanchez
