Herräng Dance Camp

Herräng Dance Camp is a 4 week camp involving classes and social dancing for swing dancing in the form of Lindy Hop, Boogie Woogie, Tap, Authentic Jazz, and Balboa. The camp, which is run by the Harlem Hot Shots is held annually in its namesake town of Herräng in Sweden. The camp has worldwide fame among swing dancers and each year attracts dancers from all over the world.

The first Herräng Dance Camp was held in 1982. Originally started by some of the members of the Swedish Swing Society based in Stockholm. In its infancy, the camp attracted around 100 students a year. The camp began to expand in the 90s when it started attracting more and more foreign dancers from all around the world.
