Heroes Shed No Tears (originally Ying Xiong Wei Lei) is a film made by John Woo in 1986, prior to his success of A Better Tomorrow. It is a story about a group of mercenaries on a mission to extract a drug lord from the Indochina area.

The film exhibits some of John Woo's distinguishing marks, though John Woo was reportedly dissatisfied with the end film and decided to shelve the project. However, after the success of A Better Tomorrow, the studio did release this title and it gained moderate success under the title Sunset Warrior.

On July 17th 2006, Contender Entertainment Group released the film on DVD and it is now widely available.
