Herndon Elementary School

Herndon Elementary School is a school in Herndon, Virginia, located at 630 Dranesville Road. It feeds into Herndon Middle School & Rachel Carson Middle School. It is well known as the only area elementary school to offer French-language immersion as part of the Foreign Language Partial Immersion Program. [1]
The school has a business partnership with the U. S. Minerals Management Service, a Federal Government agency. [2] [3] MMS Director Johnnie Burton spoke at the school in 2002. [4]
