Hercules Brabazon Brabazon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hercules Brabazon Brabazon (1821-1906) was an English artist, accomplished in Turner manner watercolours. He was born in Paris. Brabazon was an amateur, so his work was not seen in professional exhibitions in his early years. However, prejudices against him were overruled in his old age, and he was elected to the New English Art Club. After this, his pictures were frequently on view. As of 1935 his work could be seen at the Tate Gallery and the British Museum.
