Herbert Smith is a large UK law firm with a number of international offices. In the UK it is particularly known for its specialism in litigation.

It is involved in a formal alliance with the German law firm Gleiss Lutz and Dutch/Belgian law firm Stibbe.

It is ranked 9th in the Lawyer Magazine's UK Top 100 with turnover of 296 million pounds and 10th in the Euro 100 and 41st in the Global 100 by the same magazine. Its Profit per Equity Partner(PEP) is 839,000 pounds.
