Heosemys is a genus of turtles in the family Bataguridae. The genus Heosemys was split out of the larger genus Geoemyda by McDowell (1964).

The Cochin Forest Cane Turtle (Geoemyda silvatica) for a time was placed in Heosemys, as was the Sulawesi Forest Turtle (Leucocephalon yuwonoi).
