An interesting comment. I've never really been interested in copyediting articles, to be honest, and didn't do that much before becoming an admin. I did, however, expand and create many articles. I try to create as many articles as possible, but only tend to do it on subjects that interest me. I guess that's the same for most people. Yes, I also do lots of "janitorial tasks", but that's while I'm not focussed on, for example, tobacco advertising. violet/riga (t) 22:54, 19 July 2005 (UTC)

Thankfully we have a lot of people that do help out with the cleaning jobs. I do my bit at WP:RM, others spend a lot of time on RC patrol and VfDs. We are, as you said, very short on the number of people volunteering to help out on fixing bad prose, wikicode and overall article standards. They will all (most) be fixed, however, but it all takes time. A long time, on many occasions.
