Talk:Henry Hall (lighthouse keeper)

[edit] Importance / location of this info

At the time of writing, the Henry Hall page begins with the "importance" template, reading "This article lacks information on the importance of the subject matter. If you are familiar with it, please expand the article, or discuss its significance on the talk page."

Certainly the lighthouse involved is famous, and it is possibly responsible for considerable advances in lighthouse construction technology. Indeed, Eddystone was something I clearly remember being taught about at primary school in the UK, so importance has been attached to it within the mainstream.

However, does Henry Hall deserve his own page? Since the Eddystone page goes to the trouble of saying "see Henry Hall for the full story", and leaves an obvious gaping hole in the history of the lighthouse on that page, I'd suggest this text should simply be incorporated into the Eddystone page (which isn't particularly long). – Kieran T (talk | contribs) 17:26, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
