I will try to find comic citations for Henri Ducard's return. It's in the Blind Justice line. I'll have to get that written up some time now that I have the comics at hand. Man I disagree at one point when you say that Henri Ducard was the real Ras Al Gul all the time.That is just wrong and it seems that you have no idea how the movie turned out in the end.The first Ras just passed the title to Ducard after his death. Ducard was like a sub-chief,a general in the league of this bloody ninjas so he inherited the title of Ras Al Gul.

I'm not sure about that at all. Batman defeats the man he's been told is Ra's Al Ghul, and saves Ducard. He is subsequently introduced to a third man as Ra's Al Ghul, and, when Ducard suggests Al Ghul is immortal, says "Or cheap parlour tricks to conceal your true identity." The implication, to me, was that Ducard was always the real Ra's Al Ghul, and always maintained a fake Ra's Al Ghul as a figurehead.

It's not true. Ducard and Ra's are NOT the same. You see, on an episode of Batman Beyond, we see that Ra's Al Ghul has transferred his soul into Talia's body and made her the new Ra's Al Ghul, because Ra's' original body was broken far beyond healing. THIS is what he did to Ducard in Batman Begins.

I've removed the bit about Ra's transferring his soul; unless you can provide a notable source saying that this happened in the film Batman Begins (saying it happened to a totally different character in the comics doesn't matter), don't add it again. EVula 20:18, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

Why not? That's how Ra's always cheats death in the comics. And that's the trick he used on his daughter Talia on Batman Beyond. Unless you're saying that in Batman Begins, the character of Henri Ducard has been made into an undercover disguise of Ra's al Ghul, and that Henri Ducard is non-existant in the Batman Begins universe. I'll say this again: the movie is not the same as the comics. Until you provide a verifiable source for your claim that the movie version of Ra's has taken over Ducard's body, you will keep having your edits reverted.

Ok, so the movies are Non-Canon. I accept that. But Ra's and Ducard are not the same (I mean Ducard did not change into Ra's, and Ra's did not change into Ducard). Is it possible that the character of Ducard has been changed from that of a French Police Detective to an undercover persona of Ra's Al Ghul? Jienum

FFS. Wanatabe Al Gul was a decoy, and Darth Gon Jinn was the real thing. It is all but flat out stated.

Ducard and Ra's are completely unrelated and different people in the comics. For Batman Begins, the character of Henri Ducard was made into an undercover persona for Ra's Al Ghul. It's like in the two versions of The Mummy. In the first (1932), the character Ardeth Bay is an undercover persona for Im-Ho-Tep, but in the second (1999), Bay is now a Medjai Warrior. Get the point?
