Hensingham is a small village in Cumbria, England, that has become a suburb of the town of Whitehaven.

The village is located to the northwest of Whitehaven off the A595, and is close to the Mirehouse housing estate and Moresby Parks. It has a few pubs, including the Lowther Arms, Distressed Sailor and the Richmond, a Spar convienence store and is close to Whitehaven fire station and three local schools; Hensingham Primary School, St Benedicts Roman Catholic High School and Whitehaven School.
