Henryk Reyman

Henryk Reyman (Born July 28, 1897 in Kraków, died April 11, 1963 also in Kraków) was a soccer forward player, sports official, and military officer. He fought in World War I (in the Austrian Army), then in the Polish Army in Polish-Soviet War, and also participated in the Silesian Uprisings.

In the years 1910-1933 Reyman played for Wisła Kraków, in 1927-1933 scoring 109 goals. Among his successes, there are:

  • Twice championship of Poland, with Wisła (1927, 1928),
  • Twice top-scorer of Polish Soccer League - in 1927 (37 goals) and 1928 (30 goals),
  • Twelve games in Polish National Team,
  • Captain of the National Team at 1924 Olympic Games in Paris,
  • One of streets in Kraków is named after him.
