Henry Jones (actor)

Henry Jones (August 1, 1912 – May 17, 1999) was an American actor of stage, film and television.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he is best remembered for his role as the handyman, Leroy Jessup, in the movie the Bad Seed despite having appeared in over 180 movies and television shows. He appeared in Vertigo in 1958 and on several episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. He also played Cloris Leachman's father-in-law on the sitcom Phyllis (1975-1977).
Henry Jones died of complications from injuries suffered in a fall at the age of 86.
