Henri Michel
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Henri Michel (born October 29, 1947) is a former French soccer player who played as a midfielder and later went on to coach various national teams, including currently Côte d'Ivoire. In 2005, he helped Côte d'Ivoire qualify for their first ever World Cup appearance in the 2006 World Cup, although he will retire after the 2006 World Cup.
Previously, he was sacked as manager of the France after a disastrous one-all draw against Cyprus in 1990. He was also fired by Morocco after the 2000 African Cup of Nations, and by Tunisia after the 2002 African Cup of Nations, despite qualifying the team for the 2002 World Cup.
