Henk Vredeling

Henk Vredeling (born 20 November 1924) was a Dutch politician.
In 1956 he was first elected member of Tweede Kamer, the lower house of the Dutch parliament, as representative of Partij van de Arbeid. From 1958 to 1973 he was member of the European Parliament. He served as Minister of Defence (1973-1977) and European Commissioner (1977-1981).
