Henderson Creek (Illinois)

Henderson Creek is a tributary of the Mississippi River, which it joins in Henderson County, Illinois, near Gladstone and Oquawka, Illinois.

From its mouth, Henderson Creek runs about ten miles north, parallel to the Mississippi, where it collects several small streams along the base of the Mississippi bluff. These include: South Henderson Creek, Jinks Creek and Fall Creek. The main stem drops down from the bluff north of Oquawka. The main tributaries include: Cedar Creek, Middle Henderson Creek and North Henderson Creek.

Henderson Creek is about 44 miles long, counting Middle Henderson Creek as the main stem.
