Towns in Argyll and Bute

I see that you've created one line stubs for dozens of places which you've described as towns an put them into Category:Towns in Argyll and Bute. You may not be aware that the word town has a distict meaning in Scotland (as for elsewhere in Europe) and smaller places are known as villages. The council's website says there are 6 town in Argyll and Bute [1].--JBellis 07:39, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

Category:: Towns in Angus

As per Towns in Argyll and Bute, you've created lots of stubs for tiny places which aren't called towns in Scotland. What is your source for these? Use of Apostrophes on Wikipedia

Thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia. :) When you are writing articles like Bogor Regency, please remember "it's" means "it is" or "it has"; "it's" never means "belonging to it". I have recently fixed up a dozen or so Regency articles which you created, because in each case, the word "it's" was used instead of "its". People make this mistake commonly; you're definitely not the only one. :) More info on the correct use of the word "it's" can be found here. At the National Security Council page, the above user violates every useful contribution role of wikipedia, including the three revert rule. He does not allow any constructive additions and is obsessed with maintainin a link to his personal essay page that he does not allow anyone else to change. can you take care of him as a vandal? blocking would be a nice fair beginning. 2006 Hawaii Earthquake

Aloha. Sorry, I didn't take any photos of the minor landslide near my house on Maui, as I was operating in survival mode, and I was more concerned with saving my cell batteries as we had no power. Since that time, I suspect the landslide has been cleared. Wikiproject Indonesia Newsletter
WikiProject Indonesia has grown incredibly! Two months ago, when the project was created, there were only two members, but now, we have got over 20 members, and hopefully it will keep increasing. Because of this large number, now WikiProject Indonesia has it's own newsletter, which will be delivered every week on Monday morning, around 22:00 (UTC). If you have any idea and suggestions, please do not hesitate to contribute to the next newsletters. We also need to find a better banner for the newsletter, so just post it on project's talk page. With your help, we can reach the even the impossible goal!

What's new?
Several ways to increase the interactions between editors have been proposed. For now, the best solution would be the IRC Channel just for WikiProject Indonesia. Please go to #wikipedia-id if you have had experiences with IRC Channels. Or read the instructions at Wikipedia:IRC.

Three new barnstar design have been proposed! If you find a great editor with excellent contributions to Indonesia-related articles, give him/her a barnstar, or maybe two or three! See the barnstars at Wikiproject Indonesia Barnstars.
Articles improvements
The previous two weeks were maybe the best and tiring week for some of us. On the good side, we have got a new Good Article, which is Toraja. Congratulations for all editors who have involved in the expansion. Yet we have failed to get two Good Article status, which are Tourism in Indonesia and Indonesia. However with the spirit of 1945 we will always accomplish many things!

Starting this week (October 17), the collaboration durations have been extended, so now we can collaborate to improve a particular article for two weeks straight. Please leave any recommendations or suggestions on the collaboration talk page.

Alexis Stone Lopez Proposed Deletion

I'm new here, please inform me if there is a better way to address this issue. All of the content in this article is known to me to be fact. I can direct you to any verification you desire but am not sure how to include it in the article. I have used a similar style as that used on other top 30 contestants articles found in Wikipedia. I would appreciate your advice on how to improve this article in a way you would consider appropriate. My position in the music business offers me personal access to executives in the organizations I speak of in the article. So, verification will not be a problem. I would like to continue, as I learn more about Wikipedia, to edit some other pages where I have found inaccuracies. For example, Gary Wright, the artist that recorded “Dream Weaver” actually went to number one on that song. I still have the industry magazines to prove it. Also, that particular album went multi-platinum, not just gold. I know this because I have the platinum record issued by “Warner Brothers Records” to me, as I own the studio in which it was recorded.

Last week, two more members have joined the project, and really boost the progress of articles editing. Danny Yee and Lestari, welcome to the project, hopefully you will enjoy your stay. So, we officially have got 26 members!

More than 440 articles have been tagged with the WikiProject Indonesia template, well done to all editors who have contributed this far. Also, while copy-editing is a very useful thing to do, researching and expanding the article, or maybe one or two sections would be extremely useful, because it is the goal of the collaboration, expanding and getting a good article status.
What's new?

Articles improvements
We have got another Good Article nomination! Congratulations to all editors, especially Indon, who have improved it significantly, maybe you can give six barnstars. So, with the nomination, we officially have had four good articles. Hopefully we can get plenty good articles in the future, or even featured articles.

The last collaboration was not a huge success, the Pulau Dewata is still a "start" article and has not improved much. However, seems like the collaboration spirit is back and Java has improved gradually, thanks to all editors.

I'm thinking User:12.111.77.131 needs to be blocked. Deletion tags

Please examine more closely the criterion for speedy deletion before tagging any further articles for deletion. Your use of {{Db-empty}} on Anaheim pepper was inappropiate. The "CSD A1" criterion says "Limited content is not in itself a reason to delete if there is enough context for the article to qualify as a valid stub.

Look what took all of four minutes to fix up. While creating content is marginally more difficult and doesn't rack up the edit count quite so much as tagging pages for deletion, it is what we're here for after all.

Noticed your revert on the Village of the Giants page, and thanks. 165.21.83.246, 165.21.83.240, 220.255.111.201 and 220.255.123.5 all appear to be either the same person, or trying to shoehorn exactly the same fluff and nonsense into this article and probably others.
