Meg: Hell's Aquarium

Meg: Hell's Aquarium is a SF novel by author Steve Alten, it is currently being written. This novel is slated to be released roughly around the sametime as the Meg movie, currently in pre-production. Steve hopes to have it ready for release a few months prior to the release of the film. The book continues the adventure of Jonas Taylor, a paleontologist studying the Megalodon. At this time this novel has not been published, therefore few details have been confirmed. Early reports have the story taking place in the Atlantic rather than the Pacific (as in previous novels) and including new and interesting creatures from the deep(it has been hinted that the creature Michael Marren told Jonas about in the third novel is one such creature). It has been hinted that this novel will probably be the last novel in the Meg series, and will see the death of at least one main character.
