"Hello I Love You" is a promo only release from The Cure. It features three versions of the title track, which was written and originally recorded by The Doors.
The Cure were asked to cover the song for a Doors tribute CD and submitted the '10 second version' as a joke. Unhappy with this, the record company asked them to re-record the song seriously and the other two versions were produced.
All three versions were included on the band's b-side and rarity collection, Join the Dots.
