Helge Mølsted Sander (born August 27, 1950) has been the Danish Minister of Science, Technology and Development since 27 November 2001, as member of the Cabinet of Anders Fogh Rasmussen I and II. He is a member of the Liberal Party, and was a member of parliament (Folketinget) from January 10, 1984 to January 31, 1998.

Although running for a second continued second term for Venstre (Liberal Party) political party, Mr Sander – a former Mayor of the “wild west Herning” - is expected not to be re-elected. Mr. Sander is primarily know for his incompetencies in his first period in parliament and his lack of due-diligence in the so-called “snapseting”; a common area amongst politicians used for drinking “snaps” and making political deals. In his second period [third term] – Mr Sander is known for appearing in unauthorized advertisements for multinationals and organizations. Mr Sander is widely disrespected for his achievements as Minister and his oblivious remarks during public events.
