Helge Haugen (born February 15, 1982 in Bergen) is a Norwegian footballer, a central midfielder with good defensive abilities, great heart for the game, and unike team spirit. Being an orienteering runner, his greatest asset is his outstanding stamina.

Though regularly criticised for lacking some skills on the ball, he has over the years kept several expensive stars out of SK Brann's team. In the 2006 season, he has been given much of the credit for SK Brann's success, balancing the offensive abilities of Martin Andresen and Charlie Miller.

With the August 2006 arrival of Eirik Bakke and Ardian Gashi to Brann, both capped a number of times for Norway in recent years, Haugen will face strongly increased competition for the central midfield spot.
