Helen Polley

Helen Beatrice Polley (February 9, 1957) is an Australian Labor Party Senator for the state of Tasmania, since July 1, 2005.
Before entering the federal government Polley was an advisor to two Labor Premiers of Tasmania; Jim Bacon and Paul Lennon. She was elected to the Senate in 2004 and her term began in 2005.
