Helen Kapalos

Helen Kapalos (born 1971) is an Australian television presenter.
Beginning her career in her hometown of Newcastle, New South Wales, Kapalos was a reporter for ABC Radio in 1994, before moving to SBS and back to Newcastle.
In 2001, she joined the Nine Network as a reporter. Her roles included reporting for A Current Affair, and reading the news.
In 2005 she read the latenight news bulletin Nightline, 35 year old kapalos was sacked from Nine at the end of the year.
In 2006, she took over from Jennifer Hansen as newsreader in Network Ten's First at Five news bulletin.
