[edit] Heihachi's Tekken 3 Ending

To whoever keeps editing the page, Heihachi's T3 ending is NOT storyline canon. It did not happen within the story and thus, does not belong within the character history. However, maybe we can reach a compromise if the above fact is stated along with the mention of the ending. Otherwise, we're at an impasse. King Zeal 13:29, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

We're not going to include non-canonical information at all. Whoever keeps reverting is going to desist or a block is in order. When more than one person reverts against another, concensus is against them. -ZeroTalk 14:18, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Soul Calibur II - Weapon

Which weapon does Heihachi in SoulCalibur II, if he uses any.

He uses armor strapped to his forearms. I don't know if bracers is the correct term. Poofyspikes 01:21, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

They are called Gauntlets. His ultimate weapon (called Tekken) is just his fists. - The 4th Snake

[edit] Hehachi's wins in Tekken

Why did u take away the information I added regarding Heihachi?? What's the reason? Aeneiden-Rex 12:05, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Not sure about your reasoning here. Editors are already bound by policy to remove speculative and original research from article space. I don't think any one needs to state an elaborate amount of reasoning for defending the encyclopedia. For instance, deletion of biased additions happens every day, as does removal of such original research and poorly written information from mainpace. This intensely annoys many people, but it still has to go on. Nobody owns any part of Wikipedia, your contributions only exist in an article insofar as it advances the project. As one becomes an experienced editor, one must take these facts on board. -Randall Brackett 12:11, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

What are u talking about?? I wrote that Heihachi was the winner of tekken 2 & 4 because I couldn't find that information anywhere else, and u deleted it, why? what's the reason for that?? Aeneiden-Rex 12:58, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

He did win both. He defeated Kazuya in both tournaments' finals. The info should be kept. - The 4th Snake

[edit] English Translation of Heihachi's name

The translation of the kanji "hei" as "plains" is erroneous, so I changed it. The character "hei" is most frequently used to mean "peace" / "peaceful". While "8th Peace" may not make sense to an English speaker, that's the literal translation of his name - though Namco might be making a joke since Heihachi wants to conquer the world and bring "world peace" (on his terms). --Gar2chan 08:00, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "Apparently" Unlockable in Death By Degrees?

He either is or he isn't. Can someone verify this? King Zeal 20:09, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cameos?

Why was my information on his cameo in Tales of the Abyss removed? It's true and seems like something to note.

[edit] Asuka's grandfather?

Is Heihachi not Asuka's grandfather as well as Jin's? After all, Jin and Asuka are cousins. Which means Kazuya must have had a brother/cousin, who is Heihachi's son/nephew. The only other way would've been if her father was Lee, which would make Asuka a Chaolan in that case.

Uh . . . Asuka isn't related to the Mishimas by blood. She's Jin's cousin; therefore, she is either Jun's niece or first cousin. I don't see how the Mishimas figure into this at all. King Zeal 08:22, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Technically, she's Kazuya's niece, if she was Jun's niece, which would make her Heihachi's grandfather. Jun is Heihachi's daughter in law. But if Jun/Kazuya had a sister/brother, that would make those daughters/sons of Heihachi as well. So Heihachi should automatically be the grandfather of Jin's cousins, being Jin's grandfather himself.

Part of that would only be true if Jun and Kazuya were married. Which they are not. Also, the sibling of a married person does not count as an in-law. According to affinity (canon law), in-laws only count for nuclear families (husband, wife, parents, children). It does not extend that far.
Here is a quote from the article itself: Today affinity does not beget affinity. Therefore the relatives of the man do not become relatives of the woman's relatives, neither do those of the woman become relatives of the man's relatives.King Zeal 06:42, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

So you're saying there's no such thing as a cousin-in-law? Also, you might want to put in that Jin's a bastard baby. Slammenhousa 23:05, 30 November 2006 (UTC)Slammenhousa

[edit] Heihachi Mishima's Picture

Where did Heihachi's picture go? He really needs a picture. There are also eleven other Tekken characters that need pictures: Anna Williams, Christie Monteiro, Eddy Gordo, Kuma, Lili, Miharu Hirano, Nina Williams, Panda, Paul Phoenix, Raven, and Ling Xiaoyu. I've provided links for pictures of all twelve of those characters, but that's the best I can do. Could someone please try to upload some pictures of these characters? KristiRenee 00:48, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

Okay, Christie Monteiro and Eddy Gordo have a picture now, but Wang Jinrei doesn't have a picture now. So, eleven more Tekken characters need pictures now. KristiRenee 19:12, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Never mind, I just provided a picture for all of the Tekken characters that were missing one. I finally figured out how to do that. KristiRenee 17:19, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
