Heidi Burge

Heidi Burge (born November 11, 1971 in Palos Verdes, California) is a retired professional basketball player. She is the twin sister of Heather Burge. They both played college basketball at the University of Virginia and then played professionally in European leagues and in the Women's National Basketball Association. At 6 feet 5 inches each, they were the world's tallest female twins before their record was broken by Ann and Claire Recht. A Disney television movie, Double Teamed, is based on their life stories and achievements in basketball.
In the WNBA, Heidi played for the Los Angeles Sparks and the Washington Mystics. Both twins retired from playing basketball due to injuries. In 2001, Heidi married Patrick Horton and the couple have recently started a family. Heidi now lives in Houston, Texas and works as a massage therapist and conducts basketball clinics and personal coaching on the side.
