Hedwig's Theme is a motif composed by John Williams for the Harry Potter film series. It was first featured in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (film) in the track, "Prologue", and from then on is known as "Hedwig's Theme". A variation of the motif has been used in each of the Harry Potter films to date. Patrick Doyle, who took over the composition job for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (film), adapted the theme for use in his score.
