Hedgehog Heaven is an album of 22 songs, contemporary "rearrangements" of the music from the video game Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Genesis. Hedgehog Heaven was a non-profit collaboration of musicians and lovers of Sonic 2, the soundtrack of which having been composed by Masato Nakamura. The album was titled by director Matt "Richter" Hackett.

The project began on September 20, 2003, by having participating artists pick tracks to recreate, although many artists eventually dropped out (or joined later on and subsequently dropped out) over the course of the project, delaying the completion of the album until 18 months after it began. The delays often frustrated many fans, especially during the final months of the project. The finished product was released and spotlighted as OverClocked ReMix's third Site Project on March 9, 2005. As of November 22, 2006, the MP3 CD album torrent has been downloaded over 16,500 times.

On June 23, 2006, IGN.com used the album's alternate cover art alongside other pictures of Sonic in a feature about the 15th anniversary of the original release of Sonic the Hedgehog. The use of the album cover has been criticized by some in the amateur game arrangement community under the assumption of being unresearched, since the pictures are given no follow-up as to their significance.
