Talk:Hebe (mythology)

Should I move Hebe (mythology) to Hêbê? WhisperToMe 02:22, 6 Jan 2004 (UTC)

I don't think so, because that spelling isn't used in English. A search on google doesn't turn up a single English page that uses it in reference to the goddess. Tuf-Kat 02:51, Jan 6, 2004 (UTC)
Actually, I tend to think the article should be moved to Hebe with a disambig block, since the goddess is probably much more well-known than the plant, at least outside of New Zealand. Tuf-Kat 02:53, Jan 6, 2004 (UTC)
The spelling is used in English, in Robert Fitzgerald's transliteration of the Odyssey - See Page 205 - However, "Hebe" without the accents is used more often, so leave it there or move to the main "Hebe" page WhisperToMe 02:53, 8 Jan 2004 (UTC)
A lot of crazy spellings are used in translations of the Odyssey and Iliad (mine say Achilleus, Menelaos, etc, and then weirder things like Aias for Ajax). Might as well leave this page where it is. Adam Bishop 02:56, 8 Jan 2004 (UTC)
