Heatseeker is a song by Australian Hard Rock band AC/DC. The song appeared on their 1988 album Blow Up Your Video as the first track. The song was later on both Brian Johnson-era live albums (Live and Live: 2 CD Collector's Edition.) The song is also a single.
This song talks about missiles, or heatseekers. In the video, Angus Young explodes from a life-sized Television set. He throws his hat, and it lands on a switch, causing it to flip. A missile is launched, and the screenshots come from the 1940's, or the 1950's. The missile travels across the world, and it finally crashes into the Opera House in Sydney, where AC/DC is playing. Angus explodes out of the giant missile, and does a guitar solo. At the end, Angus heads back into the missile, and leaves.
