Heather Reisman

Heather Reisman (born 1948) is a Canadian businesswoman. Reisman was born in Montreal, Quebec and educated at McGill University. She is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the retail chain, Indigo Books. Previously, she was President of Cott, a leading supplier of private label carbonated soft drinks.
In 1996, she founded Indigo which, in 2001, merged with its main rival, Chapters, to form the largest book retailer in Canada.
Along with her husband, businessman Gerald Schwartz, Reisman is a director of the Onex Corporation.
