The Song Remembers When (1993) |
Hearts in Armor is the second album by country singer Trisha Yearwood. Four of its tracks found spots in the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in 1992 and 1993: "Wrong Side of Memphis" rose to #5, "Walkaway Joe" to #2, "You Say You Will" to #12, and "Down on My Knees" to #19. A highlight which did not chart is a cover of "Woman Walk the Line", an Emmylou Harris/Paul Kennerley composition originally performed by Harris on The Ballad of Sally Rose in 1985. Here, Harris reappears to provide harmony vocal backup for Yearwood. Another highlight is "For Reasons I've Forgotten", with former Mavericks frontman Raul Malo providing harmony vocals. The album rose to #12 in the Billboard country albums chart.
