The Headless Hunt is a society mentioned in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling. It is for ghosts who had been decapitated on earth.

They did not invite Nearly Headless Nick (Sir Nicholas de Mimsy Porpington) to join them. When he applied, they turned him down, since he did not fulfill their requirements; the headless hunt only accept huntsmen whose heads have entirely parted company with their bodies (complete decapitation) and Nick still has half an inch of skin holding his neck on. Therefore he is unable to participate in the hunt's games like "Horseback Head-Juggling", "Head Polo" and "Head Hockey".
