He Lives in You is a song written and performed by Lebo M for the CD Rhythm of the Pride Lands. A shorter version of the song was used in the opening of The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. It is also a song in The Lion King musical. They Live in You, a version with the lyrics slightly changed, is sung by Mufasa to young Simba in the scene when they are looking up at the stars and discussing the Great Kings of the Past. In the second act, Rafiki sings the normal version of the song to adult Simba, showing Simba that his father lives on in him. "He Lives In You" was also recorded by Tina Turner for the film

A Japanese pop music version was released on the Japan-exclusive album Best of The Lion King.
