[edit] Squamish, British Columbia edit

Just a note, I reverted your change to the Squamish, British Columbia article (changing Indian back to First Nations), and added a note about it to the talk page with my reason for doing so. Thanks. --Hansnesse 01:29, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

I have no interest in getting into an edit war with you over this. Please do not revise the page to add your point of view (see WP:NPOV) of the town or the original inhabitants of the region (for instance which town name is "better") or general nonsense. Please continue to contribute to the discussion on the talk page, but we should try to keep the edits constructive. Thanks, --Hansnesse 03:16, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] John Weston

I didn't copy his website. All I did to the page was add a category! If you think the page violates copyrights, please put the appropriate tag on the article. -- Earl Andrew - talk 04:21, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

Please do not vandalize my talk page. -- Earl Andrew - talk 04:46, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Using Talk Pages

Hi again. Please try to be careful not to add your comments on talk pages in the middle of other users' comments - it looks like you're trying to edit another user's comments, which is frowned upon. If you'd like to leave a comment on a talk page, you should generally either start a new section or leave your comment directly under another user's comment. To start a new heading on a talk page, border your heading's title with two equal signs, == Like This ==. When you add a note under an existing comment, it's usually tidier to indent, using a colon at the start of your comment. Also, you can quickly add your user name with a link to your page and a time stamp by signing your comment with four tildes (~~~~). Thanks, and thanks for contributing to wikipedia! -- Vary | Talk 03:32, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

Sure, glad to help. -- Vary | Talk 14:50, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] NPOV

Regarding your recent edits to Corrine Lonsdale and Squamish, British Columbia, I wanted check with you about the Wikipedia:Neutral point of view policy. I have reverted several of your edits since some of your contributions seemed to be in violation of that policy. I am certainly open to discussing the matter further, but wanted to be sure you had seen the policy in question. You may also want to take a look at the Wikipedia:Civility policy, regarding your comments on talk pages (but I do appreciate your discussion on the talk pages) . Thanks, --Hansnesse 06:39, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

  • I see you have again added the sentence "She was a better Mayor than Ian Sutherland will and could ever be" to the Corrine Lonsdale article, and added nothing but an insult to the talk page. I can appreciate that you hold a strong opinion on the matter, but in Wikipedia, we can't even say that Hitler or Stalin were bad people. Rather, we can only describe what they did; not our opinions (no matter how widely held) of those actions. Saying our opinion would not be neutral point of view. I reverted my talk page, since your post there was only to insult me. I expect that the discussion will move to the article talk page. There you have the opportunity to describe why that sentence does not violate WP:NPOV. Thanks, --Hansnesse 23:38, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

Your violations of both the three-revert rule and no personal attacks rule have just earned you a one-week block from further editing. Given your long history of questionable edits and previous blocks, the next one will be permanent. - Lucky 6.9 07:30, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Preview button

I noticed you making several repreated small changes to the Stephen Harper article, because your first attempts were incorrectly formatted. Please use the Preview button before click Save, so that you can verify that your edits are formatted correctly before submitting. --thirty-seven 07:45, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
